Sri Kembangan Salt baked chicken
Published by Coconutkun under Food on 4/18/2009 11:36:00 PMAt the time of writing this article, i am wondering whether the term Baked is correctly used.. its questionable without a doubt cos in chinese, its called Yim Guk Kai..Guk is definately not baked..and the way they are cooking it, i think its "roast"?..This is again another Ho-Chiak status stall (a popular dining programme).My verdict: i love it..but sometimes, the salt tak sekata wan (lit. meaning uneven distribution)..at certain parts, its super salty and at other parts, less salty..friends say that there are better ones at Klang! gotta discover that one out... the thing is, you dont get Yim Guk Kais around often at any place..its not a common dish you can find anywhere..I would vote this wan a good despite many commenting that its just normal..
