The Legend Hotel and The Mall

1oth March 2009. I was so excited to blog about Broga i forgot the sequence of the events that occurred this week..4days before, i had the privilege to present a progress report to a Gov. research panel at the Legend Hotel Kuala Lumpur. The experience was interesting and new..Well, i am not going to blog about the presentation, but just wanted to touch a little about this place cos it was the place where i'd use to hang out with my family when i was really really young..How young? Standard 4... Gone are the days where we would travel to KL just to do our shopping nowadays. With malls coming up in PJ, Subang and even Klang itself, we have found it almost unnessary to travel to KL for shopping these days.

Ill just start off with Legend Hotel itself, i found myself wondering around the city area right after my presentation that day. Walking aimlessly in a business suit, i first checked out the Hotel;in which i was pleasantly pleased with the service and ambience there.it was really high class indeed. so thumbs up to the Legend.. Next to the hotel was the used-to-be -famous The Mall shopping center...there used to be an indoor roller coaster in this building.. so Berjaya isnt really the first to have this concept in their mall actually...it was this in this very building where i took my very first roller coaster ride at std 5..The roller coaster isnt there anymore..and so was the amusement park that comes with it..

I then headed on the the Medan Hang Tuah which was a Melaka Themed Street built within the mall also. This place used to house the mall's food court..To my surprise, its still there and packed with people..its looking a little shabby already now..Somethings remain the same..the only things that change are ourselves..somethings however, do change.. the only things
that remain, are ourselves..
