Somehow mom cant remember the name of this place very well...so, whenever she says "Let's eat at Mahendren"..we (my sis and i) know for sure she meant "Manhattan's"..The pictures you see here is the tapau version of Manhattan Fishies..My first time "ta pau"ing a RM100 lobster.. But usually when we dine in, what i always do at Manhattan's is i always order the number of dishes equilvalent to the number people eating minus one..this means if there are 3 of ppl, we order 2 dishes; if four, we order 3..its a sharing basis cos most of the time, the dishes here are of quite large portions (plus my family members are all small eaters)..Besides saving on $, this probably also explains why i have tried every single dish available here.. The price is okie lo considering the type of food served here..For first timers, try the flaming prawns and you'll be thrilled to see the waiter literally flaming the prawns with a gas canister right in front of you.. Please avoid the fried platter for 2-3 cos everything is so FRIED..
