Broga the return
Published by Coconutkun under Hiking on 3/16/2009 04:15:00 PM14th March 2009 was the day i went to Broga the second time! wohoo!..cham lo, i sure had alot of ppl going "Hey, why you didnt call me?!".. Dun worry, I am very sure there is a third time..LOL..cos i missed the sunrise again! wah lau eh, this sun ah, really shy shy tei and play hide and seek..This time's trip wasnt bad either; the view was perfect, the skies-clear and blue, the air-moist and cold...But these didnt come without a price..We had to weather quite a bad rain before we reach the top..it was dark, wet, muddy and the terrain slippery...i really felt bad for the girls that time, and a little concerned abt their safety; however, cheers to the girls of this trip who were really sporting and strong.Well done!...This time around, my ex-university mate Suli and her sister as well as che che Mei Yen joined us..
I have never been on top a hill after rain..I guess it was all worth it after all..there has never been a clearer view of the whole place..i guess you can even see the difference in the pictures taken during my first time and this one..At the top, it really felt as though 'you are FREE!!'; which was why i uploaded this song to accompany this article..(check out the lyrics, its great)

Thanks to Suli and Eugene, this time around, we were able to sample Broga's famous Ikan Bakar! Suli only knew the direction to the place if we brought her to the temple (c0s the restaurant is near the temple) while Eugene on the other hand only knew how to get to the temple. Their combined knowledge enabled us to test of one of the best ikan bakar thus far..I think it all boils down to the fish being fresh..And believe me, there is nothing fresher than getting straight outta the pond...We ordered a few varieties that day..Each medium sized fish costed us RM 8 which was fairly reasonable. Their curry mutton was great too..
