The Boston Baru Experience
Published by Coconutkun under Food on 3/30/2009 01:53:00 PMDriving at the heart of Klang can be very frustrating now that they are upgrading the roads..The jams are ridiculous! and theyll probably last up till 2010..But while you're probably stuck there, feeling miserable and you just happen to see Kamdar, ALC College or Bangunan Tabung Haji..and it just so happened also to be around 630pm and your stomach is craving for some authenthic hot chinese food.Just stop your car immediatly! find yourself a parking lot and look for Restaurant Boston Baru!
Well, okie..that's abit too dramatic..So, in any case youre near these buildings, you might wanna check out this restaurant. Its called Boston Baru.. However, the name has no relevance with Boston or the word Baru whatsoever..in any case, its a a nice place to go makan. I would describe this place as a typical by the roadside chinese restaurant..no aircond, no fancy seats or customer service, just great food! Typically, you have to wait an average 1 hour for your food. This place is always packed, regardless of days..Probably itll speed things up if you try to hurry the solo guy taking the order, but he never fails to shrugg things off with just a smile. Probably he doesn't give a damn anyway,haha..you want your food, wait lah (he didnt say that but can be intrepreted that way)..He's having the last laugh at the end of the day..
This time around, Kok Hong brought us a surprise!..a 2006 Queen Adelaide Merlot to accompany our seafood..Never imagined drinking wine at the roadside. Haha..Cheers for da ' man!!
If you happen to be here, here's a list of things you should order: Happy eating!!
