Ipoh vs. Kedah

Published by Coconutkun under on 4/02/2009 05:28:00 PM
Here i go again, traveling up North for an interview again..i still recall my tai ka che reacting "What!! Are you..(drops silent).. " I already have an offer, but i just wanted to weight my options..futhermore, this company is a huge one and the potential for me to grow was there..The outcome? i think there is going to be a second offer. Its great news i know, but consider the consequences - ill be leaving my family, the gang, my friends and city life..

So, off i went to Kedah;evaluating the state that im gonna spend at least 2 years of my life should i accept the job...Well, Kedah isnt that all bad actually..Life's slow and peaceful here..vast paddy fields(so ill never go hungry) and easy going village life..Humble little pekans thrive all over and everything seems so slow paced..Smack right in the middle, however is Kulim Hi-Tech park (where the company is at), an industrial area, defining its own pace regardless of its surrounding.. Highways paved their way to this area..Its like two different realms side by side and ironically, they seem to coexist..i wonder what life would be?..I still recall the interviewing manager saying "you could run off to Penang during the weekends if you find it boring here..things here are pretty ..sslllooooowww" haha, I am sure he's pretty bored here as well..

Enough said about Kedah, you cant get to Kedah from KL without by-passing Ipoh..its a state full of mountains and hills.. Here are some shots of Ipoh, Perak..So how do you differentiate Kedah and Perak...Kedah has alot of paddy fields..and Ipoh has alot of mountains..something like that...The drive from KL to Kedah was madness (5 hours)..thank God, there are alot of scenic views along the way..

Note:All pic seen in this article are taken from highways
