BBQ Chicken

Published by Coconutkun under on 4/07/2009 04:11:00 PM
The No.1 Korean BBQ Chicken? So they claim..and i was there to try it myself..The rating?not bad..very tender and juicy..In addition, they use extra virgin olive oils to fry/grill/marinate their chic..but they need to work on their food appearance..a little more garnishing goes a long way..I decided to try their sorbet too..and its really flavourful..i dont usually eat sorbets..but this one is different!.. Nice choice of having it in the menu..Surprisingly, BBQ chicken is all over Malaysia..never heard of it? me neither..but its a good start..click here their for location details..

They seem to boast their friend chicken but i wasnt so into fried stuff that day..So then this piece(the one in the pic) came to my attention because it was called Jerk BBQ..its not like after eating it, youll feel like a "jerk"..but the word jerk actually refers to the technique of roasting food over fire.. thumbs up for the jerk..anyway, its supposed to be spicy but i was rolling my eyes when i ate it..sikit spicy pun tak da.. Korean's need to understand our defination of the word spicy

Eh... i thought EXTRA virgin olive oil(lets call it e-v-o-o) shdn't be used to cook on high heat like grill or fry food? In principle, organic, unrefined, cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil should have the lowest smoke point of all forms of olive oil since this form of the oil is the least refined, most nutrient dense and contains the largest concentration of fragile nutritive components. Based upon this, I cannot imagine exposing this type of olive oil to high heat[whfoods.com]
