Line Clear Nasi Kandar

Have you ever tried OVER-editing photos? well, this is one of the outcome; the thing is...i think its cool!!

This time, we head back to North for some travel and food. Where? any hints? I think just seeing the word Nasi Kandar i'd bet you have the word Penang running across your mind now..unless of course you're foreign...In fact, Nasi Kandar is so synonymous with Penang that if you say Penang fast enough, it sounds like Nasi Kandar (and i hope youre not doing it)..LOL..as crappy as my preface might sound, so is the name of the hidden lil treasure of Penang..tucked in a neat lorong (alley) somewhere near Jalan Penang (Penang Street) in Penang!, this place is no where near the status of being "line clear"..in fact the line (or rather the queue) is so extensive that on peaks, you'd have a few ppl queuing until outside; under the hot sun/rain for your more than average Nasi Kandar.. Our's was drizzling on that day, but tell you what..its well worth for the sake of this Almost Ultimate Nasi Kandar (A.U.N.K <-im making this up).. Just picture this..think of queuing up in a lorong (lane) for about 15 minutes..as you wait anxiously for your turn, your stomach begins to rumble ..a fusion of smells fills the air; mostly of curry origin..your turn arrives as you scramble to make a choice..The first decision is the simplest; white rice or briyani?..then, it gets a little more difficult; you bite your lips given an array of choice..should it be the curry? fried? rendang? masak merah? chicken, fish, mutton, beef?..then attendant then reaches to add some cucumber, this buys you time..you can feel that the ppl around you are getting impatient..you have to decide..tension rite?

But it's not that bad la..basically, fried chicken and briyani always works grrreat for me..then fish curry aubergine..a combination of gravy (mostly beef and chicken curry i think is the best!) and another choice of vege would just make my day..i mean, that's for me..
