Johor, Batu Pahat..Thanks to dear Jo, i had the opportunity to test one the best sponge cakes in the state..The come in a variety of flavors, i was told..the one i was bought was
pandan and coffee (colors green and brown respectively). I told my
colleague (whose hometown was from
Johor) and she could instantly verify that the cakes here were famous..For one, the cakes are really soft (look at the pic) and fresh .. I was told that they used only fresh ingredients (

haven't the faintest idea where this place is so dont bother asking.. One things for sure, its a real great sponge cake!
