Dragon-i

Published by Coconutkun under on 8/11/2009 09:01:00 PM
Ooo, kinky...what's with the Terra Cotta figurines..some of might have already guessed..Yes, its a restaurant..and yes, its i-dragon..i mean dragon-i (damn, why i always terbalik the name)..Coconutkun was here to celebrate parents days here on that lovely little Sunday nite.. yes, i admit, parents day was ages ago-so sorry for the late upload..currently, my events surpasses my blog writing speed two fold..i am writing events that had occurred 1..2 months ago? I look forward to the day where i'd be writing last years events, LOL...Well, actually I hope that does happen cos initially this blog was set up to update my friends about the latest events surrounding my life..it ended up to be a food blog..LOL..talk about karangan terpesong..this is terpesong kau kau..

So, here we are at dragon-i having a parents day meal for 8! (dei, how many parents you've got la?)...and probably some of you might be asking "Why parents day at dragon-i?" (actually, some of you already asked that)..and i acknowledge it..why here ah? (me asking myself..tersilap pilih tempat)..damn, this place really burns a hole in yer pocket(must've been the dragon here).. honestly, i like bringing people here one on one, especially when youre ordering for one set one person kind of thing..its lighter on the pocket..plus, this place gives a high-class feel..BUT, this doesnt happen for a large pax menu..this meal costed five hundred something that day, averaging about 65 per person..gulp(i could have done alot with the money..there are better places, better food, more affordable)..Id pay to learn but this was an interesting experience nontheless..the food here is unique (the taste; a little more than typical Malaysian chinese cuisine)..and oh ya! this place is affiliated Canton-i too (See: my earlier article)..and yah, and its NON-HALAL..muahaha..just look at that piece of pork..SO FAT!.. I havent been commenting on the food havent-i? lol..well, Dragon-i employs chefs flown in all the way from China (Shanghai?), so u dun have to worry about the quality+taste...its good..the only thing missed out here is their siew long bao (there's a better one in Spore actually), which is what they are extremely famous here for (also their steam lil buns with red bean paste)..these are the little dishes that those guys in the glass are constantly making to replenish stock..they come fresh..
