Pandan cake

Klang commuter train stop..there are 3 things that run through my mind when it comes to this train station..First of course, it's the stop nearest to the infamous little india of Klang..second, Lorong Melayu is nearby where there are quite a number of old famous kopitiams along this street: rice ball chicken rice, banana leaf and not forgetting the famous "under the bridge" Klang Bak Kut Teh. Lastly, Regent cake house, perhaps one of longest standing cake shop in the area..This cake shop is tucked in pretty far away from the two spots i mentioned above. Not many know about this place actually except for those faithful gen X cohort groups that first discover this place..btw, i am gen y (still young)..if you were to drop by, youll be shocked to see that this bakery doesnt sell much stuff actually..probably just a couple of cakes and some biscuits...err, then?..so what's really good here is actually thier pandan and yam cake..over the years, they have some how innovated a little and came up with a combination of the flavours (like what you see in the pic)..Other things, i seriously have never tried...LOL..i think this is their only thing that is nice here..I have aunties that come all the way from Damansara to eat this cake..so its really strange - how far a "woman's cravings" can get..This box you see here costs RM 7.50 which i think is pretty reasonable and it can only last 5 days..The lil old lady never fails to remind me whenever i buy this cake from her..and really, i think this cake is really something worth it itf you were to drop by this area..
